I get my love of wings from my dad, who is an aficionado. The man knows the best wings in every area he's spent time in and can make a mean wing at home (grilled!).
Since he spends so much time parked at the bar in front of a plate of wings, he offered to write-up his experiences. He lives in Norfolk, VA, and here's the first installation of the Wingman.

Nice little restaurant located in East Ocean View near the Naval Amphibious Base Gate 5.
Good food, outside patio area, Happy Hour 4-7 with 1/2 price oyster and clams and drinks. Good selection of craft brews from local breweries, but we're only talking wings here.
"Voodoo Wings – tossed in our infamous sauce, served mild or hot with blue cheese dressing
6 - $6.50 12 - $12.00 (1/2 price Happy Hour)"
Good wings (only one variety)- breaded, deep fried, then tossed with sweet spicy "Voodoo" sauce, kinda like Teriyaki sauce.
One of the largest servings around - large wings (no pigeon wings here) - good mix of flats and drums.
